BACKGROUND:   I specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity issues, trauma, and grief/loss.   I have experience working with clients of all ages who struggle with ADHD, relationship issues, suicidal ideation, and low self-esteem.  I also help individuals with intellectual/developmental disorders and their family members who struggle in their caregiving role.

With experience in intensive in-home care, university counseling, and non-profit services supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, I understand the importance of meeting clients where they are. I am passionate about helping people who feel stuck or uncertain find their strengths, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful connections in their lives.

I have a passion for working with clients 13 and up who struggle with transitions and have a hard time finding their place in this world. I enjoy helping clients identify the coping strategies that work for them and finding creative solutions to problems. I also enjoy working with couples and families who want to find ways to connect with one another again.

My approach to counseling is person-centered, strengths-based and collaborative to allow for flexibility and creativity for each individual navigating their unique journey in life. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment, and will walk alongside you as you process life’s struggles.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two cats, reading and exploring new hobbies, whether that is painting, crocheting, or baking. I also enjoy spending time outside my fiancé and friends who typically enjoy traveling, going on walks, and playing disc golf.
